Hello Cardinal

Hi everyone,

Its my turn to share with you on Shes A Sassy Lady. Thank you for having me Shelia. I found this site by Mathew Bohan and his sketches are so beautiful. I printed the image onto neenah cs then water colored this cardinal and I am very pleased with the results. The card base is recollections black. The DSP is from making memories.  The background was made using pan pastels. The small corner are from a kwik kuts die using the left overs from the base of the card.I have a box of the tags with different says so I used the friend and added some red thread under the tag. To finish the card I added a bow with the same thread. I wrote the sentiment on the image using a copic black multiliner, but wasn't careful enough and didn't get it straight.

I hope you have feel inspired to create something new. Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Hi everyone,

We have another challenge starting today on 613 Ave Create. Our sponsor is Fitztown. I'm using this butterfly image called Fae 18.  I had colored it with copic marker but decided I didn't like it so I   add glitter over top. I used white and yellow MS glitter. The card base is recollections black at 4.25 x 11 then folded in half at 5.5. The yellow layer is staples vanilla cs. Its is embossed using the SU vintage wallpaper folder. I then used distressed black ink to color the raised areas of the embossing. The ribbon is from my stash. To finish the card I used silver sequins. I added the sentiment inspire by inkadinkadoo #11 with stazon black  onto the bitty banner die from SU. I then used distress yellow to go over the tag a little. I hope you will feel inspired to make a project and join our challenge.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Lilly of the Valley Sprite

Hi everyone.

We have a new challenge starting today on the Fairies in Time. Our sponsor is Aurora wings. The image is called Lilly of the Valley sprite. I have used DCWV paper stack and cut the layers using SU die cut. The base layer I cut two and scored the back panel. I then glued the front to the back. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E 000,00,11, R 29,81,83,85, YG 61,63,67,03,24. The leaves were punched out using MS leaves border punch. The small daises were punched with an old punch. Don't use it much because it is hard to punch. The background was distressed using blue pan pastel very lightly. The ribbon is SU seam binding. I colored the pearl and added it to the bow. Three pearls were also added to the daisies.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Hi everyone,
I have made another card with the darling doggies set. I set them up together and  and then added the first dog again separately. I used the striped background then printed them onto neenah cs.  The card base is recollections kraft cs.  I fussy cut the first dog and popped it up with dimensional dots. I wanted the first dog to be a bit darker so I used copic markers E24, Y21 grass YG24,03. I printed the sentiment Fuff day but only used the Ruff to add to the dog house. I thought it would be cute to add a but of doodling on the roof of the house so I added small stripes then faux stitching using SU real red marker  I had 3 buttons. I hop you have enjoyed this card. I will enter it in these challenges.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Hi everyone,

Today's card is Lacy Sunshine Rory reindeer. The card base is neenah cs. The DSP is from a K&Company seasonal stack. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers.   On the puppy I added some sukura white gel pen to make some fur markings. The reindeer food bag I added some crosshatching and wink of stella and on the puppy bag I added some extra stripes on the lid. I used the blende pen on Rory pants and gave them some stripes. I used some blue pan pastel to color the background lightly. Then I used SU good neighbors stamp set to add a few trees and clouds. They are second generation stamping to keep them in the background.  I added a few dots to make snowflakes. The bottom of the image was make to look like lots of snow by making a few marks for hills. I used SU fancy phases stamp set and the modern label punch to add the sentiment. The red flowers are punched with the SU petite petals punch. I added rhinestones in the center. The leaves are from MS leaves border punch. I added some sukura yellow glitter pen to the bells on Rory antlers. The ribbon bow is from my stash. It still needed something so I added faux stitching around all the DSP and the image. I did have fun with this cute image. I am entering this card into the Lacy Sunshine challenge on FB. I hope this has inspired you to join in with this image also.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Hi everyone,
Here is my DT project for this month on Deedee's Digis. This set is called Fall Warm-up. I printed the image onto neenah cs. The base card is Recollections brown cs cut at 4.25x 11 on the long side. I decided on a shaker card. The size is 4x4 and I added 2 layers of foam then added the glitter and rhinestones. I should have added powder before I glued the clear plastic on the top. The glitter is sticking to the plastic. The top layer is a sizzix frame die cut using the big shot using Recollections DSP .  I have distressed the edges of the frame. I added a small orange ribbon from my stash that seems to go well with the leaf in the top left corner. I added a small knot as the bow. The sentiment is also from the fall warm up set cut with SU modern label punch.

Hi everyone,

Todays challenge on 613 Ave Create is create your own. Our sponsor this week is Fred She Said. I designed the front of my card in MS Word by putting the flowers in the corners. I prined the image onto neenah card stock. I then made a couple of smaller flowers to add on top of the corner flowers and popped them up with dimensional. I colored the images with copic markers. R81,83, YG 03,24, Black 100, Y21, V02. I found this cute saying in my stash and thought it would be great for this card. I have had it for awhile so I am not sure where I got it.  I used a spellbinders majestic elements die to cut the image and also a pink one to bring the colors together. The butterfly is from the same set. I added Rhinestones on the flowers centers and a few across the top and side panels. The card base and the one circle is SU pretty in pink.

I added a shadow under the dog, and drew a few bones and fussy cut them out. The sentiment Dream big is a sentiment that really works for this cute dog. The card base is recollections kraft. I also cut a layer out to put under the image and distressed it with brown ink. I then added faux stitching around the center image. I cut a circle using SU round punches. Deedees digis are so much fun to create with. I am finding I enjoy using some pre colored images.

Seahorse Dreams

Hi everyone,

It is my turn to share with you on She's A Sassy Lady blog. Thanks for having me Shelia. My name is Carol and my blog is here Happy Expressions. I started off thinking I would make a shaker card and it changed as I went along. My card base is SU soft sky cs. The polka dot layer is we are memory keepers wedding stack DSP. I had some white .25 white trim tape and decided it would make a cute border. The sky blue layer is 4x5.5. I used SU retired polka dot background using soft sky ink to add the background. I then added Inkadinkado mason jars largest stamp in the set. The seahorses are from the SU set called by the tide. I coloured them with watercolors. The weed is also from by the tide. The bubbles and bottom rocks were added using copic marker BG 10,13,15. It still didn't look quite right so I took a black marker and filled in around the white tape. I marked off half way on both top and sides to add faux stitching. I added the sequins and then printed off some coloring book shells. Watercoloured them and and fussy cut them out. I found this small stamp dream unknown and stamped it with stazon ink and die cut with the big shot and SU bitty banners die. It finally looked finished and I was happy with the result.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Thank you all for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!
