Hi everyone,

Our second sponsor this week at 613 Avenue Create is the Paper shelter. I decided to use this pre coloured image to show you how easy it is to paper piece any image you have.

I took the image into word and copy and pasted it as many times as I need to crop what I wanted to piece in my picture.  I cropped  the top row of heart 3 times, I used pop dots to give them dimension. I added one on the top of the hearts, one on the bottom of the easel centred and then I cut the centre heart to pop up on the bottom layer of the easel. The bottom row of the hearts was cut out once and popped up. I fussy cut all the layers after it was printed.

The cactus and pot were cropped 3 times. One full image to put over the top layer,  the right side of the cactus was popped in separately. Then the pot was added over that layer and last was the bow cut out and added. The flower was added last. I added brads on the bottom heart layer. It very simple and if you need help please ask. Sorry I didn't take pictures as I went along. I just didn't think of it.  I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,
It's my turn to be a guest this week on Shelia's blog She's a Sassy Lady. I am so please to be here to show you the card I made for my grandsons wedding on the 2nd of Aug. Thank you Shelia for  letting me join you and your lovely friends.

After making a few wedding cards and not being sure if I liked them, I have finally chosen this one for my grandsons wedding Aug 3rd. The others were pretty also but this one just says take me. I used a swan cut from a Penny Duncan svg file. It  was too plain for me so I decided to add some lace into the wings from another svg file. I then added glitter into the lace. The colours are blue pictured in the bows above and I used a copic to colour the white ribbon. I printed the verse with sure cuts alot then cut it out. It worked out perfect. I will add this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I made another card for our sponsor this week. Whoopsi Daisy. I used a pre coloured image and decided to make a swing card. I started off with a 4.25x11 card base. I scored the cs in half and the front piece in half again and then added the DSP. I took the left half folded and put it in my bigshot with one of the spellbinders dies. I added another layer to bring out more colour. I them cut the image with a smaller die. I cut the smaller one out twice so I could use one of them for the inside to write a greeting. I added a bow from my stash and some liquid pearls on each of the flower centers. I will add this card into these challenges.

Papers - Recollections kraft, DCWV pink, DSP DoveCraft garden party

Accessories - neenah cs, spellbinders, big shot, ribbon, liquid pearls

Spinner Girls

Hi Everyone,

This week one of our sponsors at the Fairy's Challenge is Whoopsi Daisy stamps. I am using two of the Daisy girls I coloured them with copics, then cut them with a scallop circle punch. I made them into penny spinner cards. I used my cricut and sure cuts a lot to make the spinner attachment piece. I made it from watching Shelia's video at She's a Sassy Lady's gypsy video. She made it look so easy I wanted to make a cut file too.  It worked out great. Thanks Shelia. I added a layer of pretty DSP and used corner punches on the two tops corners of the layers. I forgot to add my sentiment before I put the card together so I needed to add and extra layer. I used a staple to put the sentiment on and glued the other end.  I used the inside piece from the spinner cut. I added a ribbon from my stash and yellow liquid pearls. I will enter these cards into these challenges.

Stamps - Whoopsi Daisy, Pink by Design
Papers - neenah cs, DCWV solid, First Addition,
Ink - printer, copics E00,000,31,33,35, R20,34, black versa mark.
Accessories - SU corner punch card 2, MS corner punch card 1, ribbon from stash, Tim Holtz tiny attcher, liquid pearls
